Comparison review

The LG V50 ThinQ has a global score of 83.7, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S8's 81.7 general score. LG V50 ThinQ is a notably newer cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy S8, although it is just a little thicker and heavier. Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a bit sharper display than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a little bit lower 1440 x 2960 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher pixels density.

LG V50 ThinQ features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S8, and although they both have 8 cores, the LG V50 ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM. LG V50 ThinQ has a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S8, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory capacity.

LG V50 ThinQ has a bit better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller sensor capturing worse quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same resolution back facing camera, the LG V50 ThinQ also counts with a bigger aperture for better photography and video in poorly lited situations and better 60 frames per second video frame rates.

LG V50 ThinQ has improved battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery size.

Although LG V50 ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S8. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy S8, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
