Comparison review

LG V50 ThinQ has an overall score of 83.7, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S9's overall score of 83.3. The LG V50 ThinQ body has the same thickness than Galaxy S9, but it's somewhat heavier. The Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a little sharper display than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2960px, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels density.

The LG V50 ThinQ has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy S9 and LG V50 ThinQ have incredibly similar cameras, and although the Galaxy S9 has a larger sensor, they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the same video frame rate, a F1.5 camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality.

The LG V50 ThinQ has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG V50 ThinQ features better battery life than Galaxy S9, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although LG V50 ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S9. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy S9, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
