The Xperia 1 III has an overall score of 93.3, which is much better than the LG V50 ThinQ's 83.7 global score. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 III has a newer 11 version while LG V50 ThinQ has Android 10. Xperia 1 III's construction is extremely newer and a little thinner than the LG V50 ThinQ's, but it's a bit heavier.

The Xperia 1 III counts with just a bit better processing power than LG V50 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 III also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a little more vivid screen than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has a better resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a little bigger screen and a little more pixels per display inch.

The Xperia 1 III counts with a bit better camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting images and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have a camera in the back with a 12 mega pixels resolution and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia 1 III also counts with a way bigger camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photos and faster video frame rate.

The Xperia 1 III counts with just a bit more storage to install games and applications than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits 976 GB smaller, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Xperia 1 III counts with a bit better battery lifetime than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V50 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V50 ThinQ. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1 III, else you can save a couple dollars and get the LG V50 ThinQ, resigning a couple features and specs.
