Xperia 1 III's construction is extremely newer and a little thinner than the LG V50 ThinQ's, but it's a bit heavier.

Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a little more vivid screen than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has a better resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a little bigger screen and a little more pixels per display inch.
The Xperia 1 III counts with a bit better camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting images and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have a camera in the back with a 12 mega pixels resolution and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia 1 III also counts with a way bigger camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photos and faster video frame rate.
