The Google Nexus 5 is just a bit better than the Microsoft Lumia 950, getting a 76 score against 74.1. Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3 operating system, while Microsoft Lumia 950 has Windows 10 Mobile operating system. The Google Nexus 5 is an older and just a bit thicker device than Microsoft Lumia 950, but Google could make it somewhat lighter anyway.

The Google Nexus 5 has a better CPU than Lumia 950, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and a higher number of faster cores. The Lumia 950 counts with a bit better screen than Google Nexus 5, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a better 2560 x 1440px resolution and a higher pixel density.

Microsoft Lumia 950 counts with a much better storage to store more games and applications than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Microsoft Lumia 950 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 200 GB. The Microsoft Lumia 950 features improved battery lifetime than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 features a much better camera than Google Nexus 5, because it has a much larger aperture to take better low-light photos and videos, a lot higher (4K) video resolution, a much bigger sensor taking way better quality videos and photos and a much better resolution back camera.

If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Microsoft Lumia 950, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
