Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is slightly better than the Huawei P20, getting an 85.3 score against 78.1. Microsoft Surface Duo 2's design is newer and much thinner than Huawei P20's, but it's noticeably heavier. Both devices we are comparing include Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has the previous 11 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a just a bit inferior pixels quantity per inch in the screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1892 x 2688px and a really bigger display. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a bit better performance than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has more RAM.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 and Huawei P20 count with very similar cameras, and although the Huawei P20 has a smaller diafragm aperture and slower 30 fps video frame rates, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a 12 mega pixels resolution camera in the back. The Huawei P20's storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to Microsoft Surface Duo 2's one, both have equal 128 GB internal memory.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with longer battery lifetime than Huawei P20, because it has a 4449mAh battery size against 3400mAh.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P20. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Huawei P20, resigning a couple specs and features.
