Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a global score of 85.3, which is a bit better than LG V50 ThinQ's 83.7 general score. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 design is much newer and much thinner than the LG V50 ThinQ's, although it is heavier. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has the newer 11 version and LG V50 ThinQ has Android 10, so it counts with some extra features and some performance improvements.

LG V50 ThinQ counts with a display that is very similar to Microsoft Surface Duo 2's display, because although the LG V50 ThinQ has a quite lower 1440 x 3120 resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a better quantity of pixels per display inch. The LG V50 ThinQ counts with a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB.

LG V50 ThinQ counts with a CPU that is very similar to the CPU in Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although the LG V50 ThinQ has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. LG V50 ThinQ takes a bit better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same video resolution, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better images and video in low light situations.

The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a little longer battery performance than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has an 11% more battery capacity.

Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG V50 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V50 ThinQ. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy LG V50 ThinQ, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
