Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Duo has a score of 78.8, which is just a bit better than OnePlus 8's global score of 76. Even though the Microsoft Surface Duo and OnePlus 8 were released with only a couple months difference, Microsoft Surface Duo's body is incredibly heavier but notably thinner than OnePlus 8.
OnePlus 8's processor is very similar to Microsoft Surface Duo's CPU, and although the OnePlus 8 has more RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The OnePlus 8 counts with just a bit better screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a little smaller screen and a much lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a little higher amount of pixels in each inch in the display.
The OnePlus 8 has as much storage for apps and games as the Microsoft Surface Duo, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. OnePlus 8 has a greater camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 also has a lot more mega pixels camera and a bigger camera aperture.
The OnePlus 8 counts with better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity against 3577mAh.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the OnePlus 8. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get OnePlus 8, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
