Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a general score of 86.5, which is a little bit better than Microsoft Surface Duo's general score of 78.8. The Samsung Galaxy M31 design is much thicker but noticeably lighter than the Microsoft Surface Duo, and both of them were only released 6 months apart. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has the newer 11 version and Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10 version, giving some nice extra features and better performance.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a slightly better screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, it also counts with a bit better pixels number per display inch. The Microsoft Surface Duo features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M31. Both have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM.
The Galaxy M31 shoots greater photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a back camera with a way higher 64 MP resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos in low-light environments.
Galaxy M31 has more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has a 68 percent more battery size.
