Both phones we are comparing have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has an older 5.1 version and Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10. Despite of the fact Galaxy S6 edge+ is extremely older and way thicker than the Microsoft Surface Duo, it's construction is still lighter.

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a better looking display than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a way smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440, it also counts with a better pixel quantity per inch of screen. The Microsoft Surface Duo has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has more internal storage capacity.

Microsoft Surface Duo has a faster CPU than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has more CPU cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Galaxy S6 edge+ takes much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels and a larger camera aperture.

The Microsoft Surface Duo features longer battery duration than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 3577mAh battery size.

Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is also a bargain compared to the other ones, which makes it an obvious call.
