LG Optimus L5 II has a global score of 53, which is a bit better than the Motorola Defy Mini's 48.4 general score. LG Optimus L5 II's design is newer, just a bit lighter and incredibly thinner than the Motorola Defy Mini. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the LG Optimus L5 II has newer 4.1 version and Motorola Defy Mini has Android 2.3.6 version, offering a couple additional features.

The LG Optimus L5 II counts with a more vivid screen than Motorola Defy Mini, because it has a much higher resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a better pixel density and a bigger screen. LG Optimus L5 II has a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Defy Mini, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, they both have 512 MB of RAM memory and 1 CPU cores.

The LG Optimus L5 II features a much better camera than Motorola Defy Mini, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the LG Optimus L5 II also has a camera in the back with a much higher 5 mega pixels resolution.
