Motorola Defy Mini is a decently made Android cellphone released some years ago, in 2012, which features a 3.2-inches capacitive touch-screen, a quite powerful processor clocking at 600 megahertz, a 3 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. Let's take a better view of what this cellphone can do.
This cellphone isn't really a compact device, taking into account that it is 4.29 inches long and 2.3 inches wide, but it only packs a 3.2" display. Motorola appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 3.77 ounces phone. Motorola only sells the Motorola Defy Mini in black color.
This cellphone is equipped with a fast 600 MHz processor, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7225A system chip and 512 MB RAM. Graphic calculations usually uses a lot of CPU processing time, so this device counts with an extra 200 megahertz Adreno 200 (enhanced) GPU to unload the CPU.
This cellphone includes an average 480 x 320 3.2" display, which makes everything look quite vivid. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
The Motorola Defy Mini offers wifi connection (and it can share it with other devices around, acting as a modem or router) and the fastest 3G connection type, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM services.
This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 3 MP back camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. This cellphone can also shoot videos up to 640x480 (VGA). The camera also has geo tagging and flash.
This cellphone also comes with a couple useful characteristics such as Bluetooth (2.1) and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This phone uses a 1650 mAh medium sized Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a demanding cellphone like this. Motorola afirms this cellphone has a 504 hs stand by time and a 10 hours talk time.
Motorola sells this device for 135 dollars, which is high for a cellphone this level.
