The Xperia 5 has a score of 81, which is a bit better than the Motorola DROID Turbo 2's global score of 75.4. The Xperia 5 is a notably newer cellphone, and it's also a little lighter and thinner than the Motorola DROID Turbo 2. Motorola DROID Turbo 2 features a slightly better screen than Xperia 5, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a bit higher number of pixels in each display inch.

Motorola DROID Turbo 2 features just a bit bigger memory to install games and applications than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia 5 counts with just a little better processing power than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a larger amount of RAM.

Sony Xperia 5's camera is very similar to the camera in Motorola DROID Turbo 2, because although the Sony Xperia 5 has a worse (4K) video quality and a back facing camera with a way worse resolution, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light photos and videos. Motorola DROID Turbo 2 features improved battery duration than Xperia 5, because it has a 3760mAh battery capacity.

Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola DROID Turbo 2. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia 5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola DROID Turbo 2, giving up some specs and features.
