Xperia XZ1 is slightly better than the Motorola DROID Turbo 2, having a 78.3 score against 75.4. Xperia XZ1 is a newer device, and it is also thinner and just a little bit lighter than Motorola DROID Turbo 2. The Xperia XZ1 features a bit faster CPU than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ1 also has more RAM.
The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 has just a bit better looking display than Xperia XZ1, because it has a little bit bigger display, a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a better screen density. Xperia XZ1 captures clearer photographs and videos than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera with a worse resolution, they both have a same size diafragm aperture.
The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 and the Xperia XZ1 feature similar storage capacity to store more apps and games, both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 has a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 3760mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola DROID Turbo 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola DROID Turbo 2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia XZ1, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola DROID Turbo 2, letting go a couple specifications.
