Comparison review

The Motorola Droid Turbo has a score of 76.4, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 general score. Both devices in this comparison review come with the same Android 4.4.4 OS, so both should give all the same OS features. Although it's the best phone we compare here, Motorola Droid Turbo's body is notably thicker and a lot heavier than Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

The Motorola Droid Turbo counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a much higher 2560 x 1440 resolution, a little bit bigger screen and a lot better pixel number per inch of display. The Motorola Droid Turbo has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Motorola Droid Turbo also has a much better graphics co-processor working at 500 MHz and a greater amount of RAM memory.

Motorola Droid Turbo shoots clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has worse 24 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola Droid Turbo also counts with a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back and a larger diafragm aperture for better low light photography.

The Galaxy Alpha's memory for apps and games is very similar to the Motorola Droid Turbo one, they have equal internal storage. Motorola Droid Turbo has a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 3900mAh battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the Motorola Droid Turbo is also by far the cheapest.
