Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than the Motorola Droid Turbo, having an 83 score against 76.4. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a extremely newer and noticeably thinner phone than Motorola Droid Turbo, although it is just a little bit heavier. These devices work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Droid Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version, so it provides some nice extra features.
The Motorola Droid Turbo features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster) and lesser RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. Motorola Droid Turbo has a brighter screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a much greater memory for games and applications than Motorola Droid Turbo, because it has more internal storage and a SD extension slot that holds up to 256 GB. Motorola Droid Turbo features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture and slower 24 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Droid Turbo also counts with a back camera with a lot better 20.7 MP resolution.
The Motorola Droid Turbo has improved battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 3900mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Droid Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Droid Turbo. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Motorola Droid Turbo, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
