Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a general score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than Motorola Droid Turbo's 76.4 global score. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's construction is much thinner and somewhat lighter than Motorola Droid Turbo, even when both were released with only a couple months difference. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has older 4.4.2 version and Motorola Droid Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version.

Motorola Droid Turbo has just a bit better performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 500 megahertz graphics co-processor, the Motorola Droid Turbo also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Motorola Droid Turbo features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution, a quite bigger screen and a better pixels density.

Motorola Droid Turbo counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Droid Turbo also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a bigger camera aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light environments.

The Galaxy S5 Plus features more memory for apps and games than Motorola Droid Turbo, because although it has just 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The Motorola Droid Turbo features a very superior battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 39% more battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a better device, it is more expensive than the Motorola Droid Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Droid Turbo. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, else you can save some money and get the Motorola Droid Turbo, letting go some features and specifications.
