Xperia 1 III is much better than Motorola Droid Turbo, having a 93.3 score against 76.4. Although the Xperia 1 III is just a little heavier than Motorola Droid Turbo, it's notably thinner and extremely newer. These devices come with Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 III has the previous 11 version while Motorola Droid Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version.

Sony Xperia 1 III has just a bit better processing power than Motorola Droid Turbo, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM. The Motorola Droid Turbo features a bit sharper screen than Xperia 1 III, although it has a little bit worse screen density, a lot lower 2560 x 1440 resolution and a lot smaller screen.

Sony Xperia 1 III has just a bit better camera than Motorola Droid Turbo, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a much less mega-pixels back camera, it also counts with a larger aperture. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Droid Turbo, because it has more internal storage and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB.

The Xperia 1 III features a bit superior battery lifetime than Motorola Droid Turbo, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Droid Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Droid Turbo. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1 III, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola Droid Turbo, letting go some features and specs.
