The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is slightly better than Motorola Droid Turbo's 76.4 global score. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has the newer 5.1 version while Motorola Droid Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's construction is newer and extremely thinner than the Motorola Droid Turbo's, but it is a little bit heavier.

Motorola Droid Turbo counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), and they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Motorola Droid Turbo also counts with a better graphics processor working at 500 megahertz. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a slightly better screen than Motorola Droid Turbo, because it has a greater display pixel density, a lot better 3840 x 2160px resolution and a quite bigger screen.

Xperia Z5 Premium features a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Motorola Droid Turbo, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 200 GB. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Motorola Droid Turbo, and although they both have the same video definition, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has higher video frame rate, a better 23 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a larger camera aperture to take better photos and video in low-light situations.

Motorola Droid Turbo features a little longer battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 3900mAh battery capacity.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Droid Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Droid Turbo. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia Z5 Premium, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Motorola Droid Turbo, resigning a couple specs and features.
