The Galaxy A40 is just a bit better than the Motorola DROID Turbo, getting a score of 79.6 against 77.9. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but Galaxy A40 has an older 11 version while Motorola DROID Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version. Galaxy A40's design is newer, extremely lighter and way thinner than Motorola DROID Turbo.

Motorola DROID Turbo has a little faster processor than Galaxy A40, because although it has less RAM memory and 4 lesser processing cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Motorola DROID Turbo counts with a better display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a higher pixel density.

Motorola DROID Turbo takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels. The Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola DROID Turbo, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.

Motorola DROID Turbo has better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has 3900mAh of battery capacity against 3100mAh.
