Comparison review

Galaxy S5 is just a bit better than Motorola DROID Turbo, getting a overall score of 80.8 against 77.9. Both devices we are comparing include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S5 has an older 4.4.2 version and Motorola DROID Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version. Even though Galaxy S5 and the Motorola DROID Turbo were released only 4 months apart, Galaxy S5 is lighter and noticeably thinner.

The Motorola DROID Turbo has a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S5. Both have a 500 megahertz GPU, a Quad-Core processing unit and 3 GB of RAM memory. The Motorola DROID Turbo and the Galaxy S5 count with very similar displays, because although the Galaxy S5 has a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher screen pixel density.

Galaxy S5 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Motorola DROID Turbo, although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures or videos in poorly lited situations, a camera in the back with a lot lower 16 megapixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.

The Galaxy S5 has just a bit more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola DROID Turbo, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The Motorola DROID Turbo features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has 3900mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola DROID Turbo. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S5, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola DROID Turbo, giving up some features and specs.
