Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a general score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the Motorola DROID Turbo's 77.9 score. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has the previous 4.4.2 version while Motorola DROID Turbo has Android 4.4.4. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's design is lighter and extremely thinner than the Motorola DROID Turbo, even though both of them were released only a few months apart.

The Motorola DROID Turbo has just a bit better screen than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a bit larger screen, a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a greater pixels density. Motorola DROID Turbo counts with a greater storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage.

Motorola DROID Turbo has a little better performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 500 MHz graphics processing unit, the Motorola DROID Turbo also has more RAM memory. The Motorola DROID Turbo features a much longer battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3900mAh battery size instead of 2800mAh.

Motorola DROID Turbo shoots slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola DROID Turbo also counts with a way more MP camera in the back and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images in low light environments.

Although Galaxy S5 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola DROID Turbo. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy S5 Plus, else you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola DROID Turbo, giving up a couple features and specifications.
