The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is a little bit better than Motorola DROID Turbo, getting a general score of 78.1 against 77.9. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has 8.0 Oreo version while Motorola DROID Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version, giving you a couple additional features and performance tweaks. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's design is newer, somewhat lighter and much thinner than the Motorola DROID Turbo.

The Motorola DROID Turbo counts with a much better display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 2560 x 1440, the Motorola DROID Turbo also counts with a just a little greater screen pixels density. The Motorola DROID Turbo has a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Motorola DROID Turbo also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.

The Galaxy S7 edge features more storage to store more apps and games than Motorola DROID Turbo, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 200 GB. Motorola DROID Turbo has just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 3900mAh battery size.

Motorola DROID Turbo takes clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting images and/or video in poorly lited situations and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola DROID Turbo also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels.

Although Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola DROID Turbo. If you want to save some money, you can buy Motorola DROID Turbo, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
