Galaxy S8 is slightly better than the Motorola DROID Turbo, with a overall score of 81.7 against 77.9. The Galaxy S8 is a newer cellphone, and it is also lighter and notably thinner than the Motorola DROID Turbo. The Motorola DROID Turbo has a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy S8, although it has a just a bit worse screen pixel density, a little smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440.

The Motorola DROID Turbo features a little better performance than Galaxy S8, because although it has a lower number of cores and less RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Motorola DROID Turbo captures a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing images and videos in low-light situations and lower 24 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola DROID Turbo also counts with a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.

The Galaxy S8 features much more memory capacity for apps and games than Motorola DROID Turbo, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S8 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB. The Motorola DROID Turbo has better battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 30 percent larger battery size.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 costs more money than Motorola DROID Turbo, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
