The Xperia Z5 Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Motorola DROID Turbo's 77.9 score. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Xperia Z5 Premium has a newer 5.1 version while Motorola DROID Turbo has Android 4.4.4, so it counts with lots of additional features and some performance improvements. The Xperia Z5 Premium is a newer and much thinner cellphone than Motorola DROID Turbo, although it is a little bit heavier.

The Motorola DROID Turbo has a little better performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), and they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Motorola DROID Turbo also counts with a much better graphics processing unit working at 500 MHz. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a bit sharper display than Motorola DROID Turbo, because it has a way better 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution, a greater display density and a quite bigger display.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a better storage to store more games and applications than Motorola DROID Turbo, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 200 GB. Motorola DROID Turbo features just a little better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 3900mAh of battery capacity.

The Xperia Z5 Premium shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Motorola DROID Turbo, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has higher video frame rate, a bigger aperture to take better low light photos and videos and a more mega-pixels back camera.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola DROID Turbo. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, else you can save some dollars and get the Motorola DROID Turbo, resigning some specs and features.
