Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 20 has older 11 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a more vivid display than Motorola Edge 20, because although it has a little bit worse display density, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a little bit bigger screen. The Motorola Edge 20 features a very superior CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 20, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro takes a little bit better videos and photos than Motorola Edge 20, because although it has a way less mega-pixels back facing camera, and they both have the same camera aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a way better video quality.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a really longer battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 20, because it has a 38% more battery capacity.
