Comparison review
Motorola Edge 20 is just a bit better than the Moto Z4, having an 86.1 score against 79.8. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 20 has 11 version while Moto Z4 has Android 10 version, giving a lot of extra features and a performance increase. Motorola Edge 20's construction is noticeably newer, just a little lighter and a little thinner than the Moto Z4.
Motorola Edge 20 features a little sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a just a little lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a quite larger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Motorola Edge 20 has just a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto Z4, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Motorola Edge 20 also has 4 GB more RAM.
Motorola Moto Z4 features a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 20, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Motorola Moto Z4 also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. Motorola Edge 20 features a bit superior battery lifetime than Moto Z4, because it has an 11% greater battery size.
Motorola Edge 20 has a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing images and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 20 also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera.
