The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a general score of 84.2, which is just a bit better than Motorola Edge (2024)'s 78.5 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison use the same Android 14 OS. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is better than Motorola Edge (2024), we must tell that it's also way heavier and just a little thicker.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a bit more vivid display than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has a just a little inferior amount of pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a lot brighter display and a quite bigger display.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Edge (2024), because it has 512 GB internal memory. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a bit faster CPU than Motorola Edge (2024), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures much clearer videos and photos than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has a tinier back camera sensor taking worse quality videos and pictures and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and videos, and they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a way better 7680x4320 video definition.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Motorola Edge (2024), because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
