Comparison review

Xperia 5 has a global score of 81, which is slightly better than the Motorola Edge (2024)'s 78.5 overall score. Xperia 5's construction has the same thickness than Motorola Edge (2024), but it is a bit lighter. Motorola Edge (2024) features a bit more vivid display than Xperia 5, because although it has a little bit worse pixels count in each display inch and a little bit lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a bit larger screen.

The Xperia 5 has a slightly bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has only 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia 5 features a much better performance than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

Motorola Edge (2024) captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing images or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Edge (2024) also counts with a camera in the back with a way better 50 MP resolution and a much larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a much higher image and video quality.

Motorola Edge (2024) has a way better battery performance than Xperia 5, because it has a 59 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Edge (2024), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Edge (2024). So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia 5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Motorola Edge (2024), resigning some features and specs.
