Motorola Edge 40 Pro is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 50, getting an 83.4 score against 81.2. Both devices we are comparing work with Android operating system, but the Motorola Edge 40 Pro has the older 13 version and Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro design is older, just a bit thicker and just a little heavier than the Motorola Edge 50.
The Motorola Edge 50 and Motorola Edge 40 Pro both have very similar processing units, and although the Motorola Edge 50 has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Motorola Edge 50 has a little bit better looking display than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, and although they both have a same size screen, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a quite higher screen density, a slightly better 1220 x 2712 resolution and a brighter display.
The Motorola Edge 50's storage capacity to install games and applications is just as good as Motorola Edge 40 Pro's one, they have equal internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 has a little longer battery life than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has a 9 percent greater battery capacity. Motorola Edge 40 Pro shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have a 50 megapixels camera and a same size aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro also has a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
