The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a score of 83.4, which is a little bit better than the Xperia 5's 81 score. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro design is noticeably newer, but heavier and just a little thicker than the Xperia 5. Sony Xperia 5 features a very superior processor than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a bit sharper screen than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a bit lower pixel density and a little bit lower 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite larger display. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro counts with a way better camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs or videos in low-light situations, it also counts with a way better 50 mega-pixels resolution camera, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a much higher 7680x4320 video definition.
