Motorola Edge 40 Pro is a little bit better than vivo X Fold 3 Pro, getting a global score of 83.4 against 77.8. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Edge 40 Pro has an older 13 version and vivo X Fold 3 Pro has Android 14. Despite of the fact Motorola Edge 40 Pro is older and extremely thicker than vivo X Fold 3 Pro, it's design is still a little lighter.
The vivo X Fold 3 Pro features a little bit better processing power than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the vivo X Fold 3 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. The vivo X Fold 3 Pro has a more vivid screen than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has a lot better resolution of 2200 x 2480, a just a little better pixels density, a bigger screen and way more brightness.
The vivo X Fold 3 Pro has a camera that is very similar to the Motorola Edge 40 Pro one, and although the vivo X Fold 3 Pro has a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a larger aperture to capture better low light photos, they both have a camera with a 50 MP resolution, the same video frame rates and the same video definition.
Vivo X Fold 3 Pro counts with a much better memory for apps and games than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has more internal memory capacity. Vivo X Fold 3 Pro counts with greater battery life than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has a 24% bigger battery capacity.
