Motorola Moto G Stylus has a global score of 79.7, which is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40's score of 77.2. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Motorola Moto G Stylus has older 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version. Motorola Moto G Stylus's design is a lot older, heavier and somewhat thicker than Motorola Edge 40.
Motorola Edge 40 features a much better looking screen than Moto G Stylus, because it has a just a little more pixels per inch in the display, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little bit bigger display. The Moto G Stylus features a much powerful CPU than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.

Motorola Edge 40 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Moto G Stylus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a larger aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited environments, a lot larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a back facing camera with more mega-pixels.
Motorola Edge 40 features just a bit better battery lifetime than Moto G Stylus, because it has a 10 percent bigger battery capacity.
