Comparison review

Galaxy A12 is just a bit better than Motorola Edge 40, with a score of 80.3 against 77.2. Despite being the best device we compare here, the Galaxy A12 is an a lot older, thicker and somewhat heavier device than Motorola Edge 40. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A12 has the older 10 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version.

The Motorola Edge 40 features a way better looking screen than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a greater screen density. The Galaxy A12 features a much powerful CPU than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

The Galaxy A12 has a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1 TB. The Motorola Edge 40 has a much better camera than Galaxy A12, because it has a camera with more mega pixels, a way bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light captures and videos and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

The Galaxy A12 features just a little better battery duration than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4400mAh.
