Galaxy M30s has a score of 83.3, which is slightly better than Motorola Edge 40's global score of 77.2. Even being the best in this review, it must be told that it's also a noticeably older, somewhat thicker and heavier cellphone. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M30s has the older 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13.
Samsung Galaxy M30s features a much powerful processing unit than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 40 has a little bit better screen than Galaxy M30s, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a quite higher pixel number in each inch of screen and a little bigger display.
The Motorola Edge 40 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy M30s, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a much bigger camera aperture to take better photography and videos in low light environments, a higher 50 megapixels resolution camera and a lot bigger sensor shooting lot higher quality photographs.
Galaxy M30s features a quite bigger storage to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy M30s has a superior battery life than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 36% larger battery size.
