Samsung Galaxy Note9 has an overall score of 87.1, which is much better than Motorola Edge 40's global score of 77.2. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a notably older, thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than the Motorola Edge 40. Motorola Edge 40 has a bit better looking display than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels quantity per inch in the display and a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a little bit larger display.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a much greater memory for apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a much more powerful processor than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Motorola Edge 40 takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a bigger camera aperture, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality pictures and videos and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
Motorola Edge 40 features a little longer battery life than Galaxy Note9, because it has a 4400mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
