The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a general score of 86.3, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 50's score of 81.2. Both phones in this review use the same Android 14 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that. Despite being the best phone we are comparing, it must be noted that it is also just a little heavier and just a bit thicker.

Motorola Edge 50's processing unit is very similar to the Motorola Edge 50 Pro one, and although the Motorola Edge 50 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 50 counts with a slightly better looking display than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has way more opaque screen, and they both have a screen of the same size, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a little better quantity of pixels per display inch and a bit higher resolution of 1220 x 2712px.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Motorola Edge 50, because it has 256 GB more internal storage capacity. Motorola Edge 50 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro takes a bit better photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with a 50 megapixels resolution, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has a lot larger diafragm aperture for better low light images and video and a larger camera sensor shooting better quality photographs.
