Motorola Edge 50 has an overall score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's 78.7 general score. The Motorola Edge 50 construction is extremely newer than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's, but it is just a little thicker and a little bit heavier. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 50 has 14 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a much more powerful processor than Motorola Edge 50, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 50 has a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a quite worse pixels density and a little worse resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels, it also counts with a larger display.

The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a much bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 has superior battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 25% bigger battery size. The Motorola Edge 50 has a lot better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a much bigger sensor shooting lot better quality photographs and videos, a lot better 50 MP resolution back-facing camera and a larger camera aperture.
