Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is a bit better than Motorola Edge 50, with an 88.2 score against 81.2. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Huawei P40 Pro has 10 version while Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14 version. Although the Huawei P40 Pro is better than the Motorola Edge 50, it must be told that it is also a much older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier phone.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a much powerful processor than Motorola Edge 50. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. Motorola Edge 50 features a sharper screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a slightly better resolution of 1220 x 2712, a little bigger display and a just a little higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a slightly better camera than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light photos, and they both have a same resolution back facing camera and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a bigger sensor providing a better image quality and better 60 fps video frame rates.
The Motorola Edge 50 features much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 features superior battery performance than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4200mAh.
