Comparison review
Motorola Edge 20 Lite has a general score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 50's 81.2 global score. Both phones we compare here include Android operating system, but the Motorola Edge 20 Lite has an older 11 version and Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14. Although the Motorola Edge 20 Lite is a better cellphone than the Motorola Edge 50, it must be noted that it's also a noticeably older, just a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker cellphone.
The Motorola Edge 20 Lite features a much greater performance than Motorola Edge 50. Both of them have 8 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores. The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a sharper display than Motorola Edge 20 Lite, and although they both have a same size display, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a quite better 1220 x 2712 resolution and a bit better pixels density.
The Motorola Edge 20 Lite shoots better pictures and videos than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing photos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite also counts with a much more mega-pixels back facing camera and better 120 fps video frame rate.
Motorola Edge 20 Lite has a little bit better memory for games and applications than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Motorola Edge 20 Lite and Motorola Edge 50 have extremely similar batteries duration.
