Comparison review
Motorola Edge 50 is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 40, with an 81.2 score against 77.2. These phones include Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 50 has a newer 14 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version. Even though Motorola Edge 50 is newer than Motorola Edge 40, it's a bit heavier and just a little thicker.
The Motorola Edge 50 and the Motorola Edge 40 both have very similar CPUs, both of them have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM memory. The Motorola Edge 50 has a slightly better display than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a quite better resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels, a brighter display, a quite larger display and a little bit better count of pixels in each inch in the screen.
Motorola Edge 40 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a much larger aperture and a bigger camera sensor.
