The Motorola Edge 50 has a global score of 81.2, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G9 Plus's general score of 80.5. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Motorola Edge 50 has a newer 14 version while Motorola Moto G9 Plus has Android 10, so it gives you a couple additional features and a performance increase. Motorola Edge 50's design is notably newer, lighter and thinner than the Motorola Moto G9 Plus.

The Moto G9 Plus has a way better performance than Motorola Edge 50, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a brighter display than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a slightly better resolution of 1220 x 2712.

The Moto G9 Plus features a bit bigger storage to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB.
