Although it's the best phone we are comparing, Motorola Edge 50 is a thicker and incredibly heavier phone than Galaxy Alpha. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 50 has older 14 version and Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4.

The Motorola Edge 50 has a better screen than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a higher screen density, a really larger display and a lot higher 1220 x 2712 resolution. The Galaxy Alpha features a much more powerful processing unit than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has less RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processor.

Motorola Edge 50 has a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 169 percent larger battery size. The Motorola Edge 50 captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a much more megapixels back camera and a bigger aperture to take better photography and videos in low light environments.
