Samsung Galaxy Fold is much better than Motorola Edge 50, getting a score of 97.6 against 81.2. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14, giving you some extra features. Samsung Galaxy Fold is a noticeably older and noticeably heavier cellphone than the Motorola Edge 50, but Samsung was able to build it somewhat thinner anyway.

Motorola Edge 50 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little higher pixel density and a slightly higher 1220 x 2712 resolution. The Galaxy Fold counts with a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50, because it has 256 GB more internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Fold has a really superior performance than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has more RAM memory. Motorola Edge 50 features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has slower video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for taking photographs or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video definition, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a lot bigger sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a way better resolution back camera.

Motorola Edge 50 features a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Fold, because it has a 14 percent bigger battery capacity.
