The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than Motorola Edge 50, getting a 94.6 score against 81.2. Both phones we compare here work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Z Fold 2 has older 11 version while Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14 version. Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is way older and heavier than Motorola Edge 50, it's design is still somewhat thinner.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a really superior processing power than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Motorola Edge 50 features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little smaller display and a little lower 1220 x 2712 resolution, it also counts with a little greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 has as much storage capacity for apps and games as the Motorola Edge 50 one, they have exactly the same 256 GB internal storage capacity. Motorola Edge 50 takes much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality and the same aperture, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot higher 50 megapixels resolution back camera.
Motorola Edge 50 has just a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
