Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is much better than Motorola Edge 50's overall score of 81.2. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia 1 III has the previous 11 version and Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14 version. Sony Xperia 1 III is a noticeably older, a bit thicker and a little heavier phone than the Motorola Edge 50.
The Xperia 1 III features a really superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 III also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a bit more vivid display than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a way worse 1220 x 2712 pixels resolution and a way worse pixels number per inch of screen, it also counts with a little bigger screen.
The Xperia 1 III counts with a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xperia 1 III also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 1 TB. The Motorola Edge 50 features just a bit better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing images and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a back camera with way more mega pixels and a larger sensor providing a higher image quality.
Motorola Edge 50 features just a bit longer battery life than Xperia 1 III, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
