Sony Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is much better than Motorola Edge 50's overall score of 81.2. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia 1 III has the previous 11 version and Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14 version. Sony Xperia 1 III is a noticeably older, a bit thicker and a little heavier phone than the Motorola Edge 50.

The Xperia 1 III features a really superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 III also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a bit more vivid display than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a way worse 1220 x 2712 pixels resolution and a way worse pixels number per inch of screen, it also counts with a little bigger screen.
