Comparison review
Motorola edge has an overall score of 89.6, which is much better than the Motorola Moto Z4's general score of 79.8. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect. Although Motorola edge is newer than the Motorola Moto Z4, it's somewhat heavier and thicker.
Motorola edge features a little faster processing unit than Moto Z4, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Motorola edge also has 2 GB more RAM. Motorola Moto Z4 features a display that is just as good as Motorola edge's screen, because although the Motorola Moto Z4 has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite greater display density.
Motorola edge has a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto Z4, because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage. Motorola edge features longer battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z4, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
The Motorola edge takes a bit better photographs and videos than Moto Z4, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light photography, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Motorola edge also counts with a bigger back camera sensor shooting better quality pictures and a camera with way more mega-pixels.
The Motorola edge costs a little more money than the Motorola Moto Z4, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
