Comparison review

The Motorola edge has an overall score of 89.6, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note9's score of 87.1. The Motorola edge construction is newer and just a little lighter than Samsung Galaxy Note9's, but it's just a little thicker. Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit better CPU than Motorola edge. They have 8 cores and the same RAM amount.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a slightly better screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better display density and a higher 1440 x 2960px resolution. Motorola edge shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola edge also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way more megapixels back facing camera.

Motorola edge counts with a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note9, because it has more internal memory and an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Motorola edge features just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Note9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Note9. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note9, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
