Motorola edge has an overall score of 89.6, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s 79.3 overall score. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Motorola edge has a more recent 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1 version, giving some nice extra features and performance optimizations. Motorola edge's body is notably newer than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s, although it is heavier and notably thicker.

Galaxy S6 edge+ features a more vivid screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and a greater pixels amount per screen inch. Motorola edge has a superior memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1000 GB and more internal memory.

The Motorola edge features a better processor than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has more RAM and more cores. Motorola edge captures way better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola edge also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot higher quality photographs and videos, a back facing camera with a way better 64 megapixels resolution and a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light images and video.

Motorola edge has a much better battery life than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 50% more battery size.

The Motorola edge is more expensive than Galaxy S6 edge+, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
