Motorola Moto G has a score of 60.3, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto E's overall score of 56.9. Motorola Moto G's body is just a little heavier but just a bit thinner than Motorola Moto E, and they were only released 6 months apart. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Moto G has the newer 5.0 version while Motorola Moto E has Android 4.4.4, so it provides you a lot of extra features and performance improvements.

The Moto G counts with a little bit better looking display than Moto E, because it has a greater display density, a little larger display and a better resolution of 1280 x 720px. Moto G has just a little better performance than Motorola Moto E, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Moto G also has more cpu cores and a faster 450 MHz graphics processor.

Moto E counts with a better memory for applications and games than Motorola Moto G, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 32 GB. Moto G takes much better videos and photos than Moto E. They have a same resolution camera.
