The Xperia TL is slightly better than the Motorola Moto E5 Play, with a general score of 66.1 against 65.5. Xperia TL features a better screen than Motorola Moto E5 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1280 x 720 resolution, the Xperia TL also counts with a quite better screen pixels density. The Xperia TL shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Moto E5 Play, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia TL also counts with a back camera with a way higher resolution.

The Moto E5 Play has a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xperia TL, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto E5 Play also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 256 GB. The Moto E5 Play has a very superior battery performance than Xperia TL, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity.

Xperia TL costs a bit more than the Moto E5 Play, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
